About
Aquella Golf & Country Club is an 18-hole championship course measuring over 7,000 yards, carpeted in Paspalum Platinum grass and designed by Australian architects Pacific Coast Design (Paul Reeves and Phil Ryan). It sits within the larger Aquella masterplan development on the Andaman Sea coastline in Phang Nga province, a joint venture between Hong Kong's Pacific Century Premium Developments (PCPD) and the Lan Kwai Fong (LKF) Group. The signature Par-3 11th hole plays directly alongside the Andaman Sea. The course was laid out on the site of the former Thai Muang Golf Course, which had been closed for about nine years, though only around 30% of the routing overlaps the old layout.
