Cheap golf in Thailand: where to find low green fees

Golf in Thailand ranges from a few hundred baht to several thousand — and the difference is rarely the course itself. If you're chasing สนามกอล์ฟราคาถูก (cheap golf) or กรีนฟีถูก (low green fees), the trick is timing and knowing which courses price fairly.
Where the savings are
- Play weekdays — weekend green fees often run 40–60% higher (วันธรรมดาถูกกว่าวันหยุดมาก).
- Book twilight / afternoon tee times — many courses drop the rate after 11:00 or offer floodlit evening 9-hole rounds.
- Thai-resident and member's-guest rates are much lower than walk-in visitor rates — carry ID.
- Driving ranges (สนามไดร์ฟ) and simulators are the cheapest way to play regularly — from ~50–120 THB a bucket.
